Great Lakes Women’s Business Council (Great Lakes WBC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering women and minority business owners. We expand access to capital, open doors to corporate procurement opportunities, provide Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) certification, and offer comprehensive small business education and support.

We represent more than 1,400 WBENC-certified women-owned businesses generating over $8.6 billion in annual revenue and employing 48,000 workers across the United States. Our network also includes 90+ corporate partners across diverse industries.

Through our lending programs, we have deployed $8 million in loans to small business owners, resulting in the creation of 1,800 jobs. And through the Michigan Women’s Marketplace and in-person trainings, we have equipped more than 15,000 entrepreneurs and business owners with the skills and resources to grow and thrive.
