Indiana Grown
Indiana Grown is a grassroots movement encouraging Hoosiers to buy, sell, and share food and products made right here in Indiana. Spanning 19 million acres of farms, forests, and woodlands, Indiana’s 57,500 farms produce some of the highest-quality products in the world. Yet, despite being the tenth-largest farm state in the nation, less than 10% of the $16 billion Hoosiers spend annually on food comes from local sources.
To address this gap and meet the growing demand for locally made products, the Indiana State Department of Agriculture created Indiana Grown, a statewide branding initiative. By allowing members to display the Indiana Grown logo on their products, the initiative helps consumers easily identify and purchase locally produced goods while supporting Indiana’s farmers and makers.
